Master of the Mojito

i have been spending my time whipping up this lovely cocktail. it is my new favorite drink this summer. it's light, refreshing, and cool. here's the recipe for the blackberry mojito:
Rough chop about 6-8 mint leaves and put them in an empty glass. add about a teaspoon of sugar. squeeze a good size lime wedge into the glass. add 2-3 plump blackberries. next, add a good shot of clear rum. i use bacardi. muddle the ingredients together. fill the glass a little more than half full with ginger ale and and add a splash of club soda. depending on how sweet you like it, you can add a bit of simple syrup. stir it up and top with ice. garnish with a lime wedge and a sprig of mint. i always throw in an extra blackberry for eating when i drain the glass. so yummy! enjoy!
