we are going to see Ingrid Michaelson in concert tonight! WOOHOO! if you haven't discovered her yet, do so. click on her picture. i'm so excited! what a way to kick off April!
we spent saturday running errands and wondering around asheville. i love that city. we discovered a wonderful new restaurant called the tupelo honey cafe. so yummy! can't wait to go back. check out their menu here. warning: you will drool!
it's a dreary, cold day today and i'm so ready for friday. i wanna get this weekend started. it's been such a long week at work and i've got so much on my to-do list. the coming of april holds some good things! the hubs and i will be going to see Ingrid Michaelson in concert, a weekend in charleston, and a long weekend in NYC to see my bestie! WOOHOOO!
the hubs and i will be cruising down to charleston in a few weeks! can't wait for a little get-away. eat some fresh seafood, soak up the sun, and just relax! it's been a long winter and now it's time to thaw out the tootsies.
that's right folks! tomorrow is officially spring!!! do you know how excited that makes me? my weekend plans consist of yard work. we are going to scrub the front porch, lay a rock walkway behind our house, do some weeding and maybe some mulching. and most importantly...enjoy the sunshine! supposed to be in the mid 70's. i hope you all enjoy this beautiful spring weekend!
you must try this. it's Paula Dean's taco soup. get the recipe here. it's a large recipe so i just halved the ingredients for just the two of us. it's a different take on the usual chili beans. try it. i'm sure you will love it!
can you believe it? FINALLY after one of the coldest, snowiest winters i've ever known, flowers are starting to bloom and trees are budding! i hope that all of the snow and cold is behind us and that spring can be welcomed with warm sunny days.
target has a new line launching March 14 called Liberty of London. i cannot wait! this bike will be included in that line and i want it so bad. it's so fun and flirty, don't you think?
and it's almost gone! i've got to get some before summer arrives. it's such a fresh, floral scent. reminds me of Charleston in early summer when the sweet jasmine blooms. i long for those days.
i've never had a huge desire to visit gay Paris. however, there's just something about this picture that makes me wish i was sitting in a small cafe, sipping on a hot cup of joe and people watching. here in asheville, though, you get a taste of all kinds of cultures. such a great city!
