It's back

you know that pretty white stuff? well, it's back! i hope it lasts through monday so that i can have a free day off work. :) good thing i've got lots of little projects to keep me busy.

Lookie what I found!

this is why i heart Hobby Lobby. i found this great wire bird cage and with a 40% off coupon it was very reasonable. i love it and it fits perfectly on this old milk stool. i can't decide if i want to add anything inside it or not. any ideas?

Gonna take a little trip

all of my eggs in a basket. there's just one problem. i have to keep them out of reach of the cat. you see, she, like me, has a slight obsession with all things bird related. in a completely different way though.

Signs of life

this past weekend (and might i add that it was a lovely weekend), i noticed the daffodils i planted back in the fall starting to poke up from the ground. this makes me VERY excited! spring is on it's way...if we can only make it through the last bit of winter. i thought i would post this today because the past two days it has been rainy and cold here in the carolinas. hoping this bit of spring coming to life brightens your day just a tad.

i have become kind of ...hmm....what's the word...well...my husband would say OBSESSED, but i....OK....maybe just a little bit obsessed....anyway...i have really gotten hooked on birds and bird nests, and eggs lately. soooo...i really like this shadow box idea here. i see a craft project in the near future for this gal.

On the road again...

i'm in the mood for a road trip! the warmer temperatures this past weekend has made me antsy to take a little trip. i'm wishing i could just hop in the car, put the windows down, turn on some good tunes and go...oh the life of a dreamer!
