these longer days are made for porch sittin'.  i'm always thankful when i can slip in a few moments of soliutude and enjoy the the sun and moon trading places.

even though it feels more like summer here in the south,

i'm still glad to see everything blooming and coming  to life.

i had been here before, to cypress gardens.

it's such a magical place.

a peaceful, welcoming place anytime of the year.

if you're ever in the charleston area, do make an effort to visit.

you won't regret it.

i'm sad to see our mild winter slowly fading away, but spring always brings the highly anticipated longer days filled with more sunshine.  i'm looking forward to it.  trees and flowers are starting to blossom and everything is coming back to life.  such a renewal of the soul.  i cannot wait for long walks and porch sittin'; fresh flowers and iced tea; city strolls and grass bewteen my toes.

it's coming and i'm ready.

running in circles

ever feel like you are running in circles?

it's been one of those months for me.

i can't believe that spring is right around the corner.  i didn't even see a single snowflake this winter.

but i'm ready. ready for a fresh start to a new season.

ready for life to start budding.

and what better way to welcome the warm, sunny days than a wreath to welcome in loved ones.

i made this on a cold, rainy day.  all you need is a grapevine wreath, birds, moss and flowers from a craft store.  just use your hot glue gun and make it yours.
